Michael C. Hall is stepping into David Bowie’s old shoes in an off-Broadway musical. The New York Theatre Workshop said Tuesday that Hall will star in the musical “Lazarus” this winter by Bowie and “Once” playwright Enda Walsh.
Michael C. Hall will star in the indie drama “Christine”, based on a true story about a suicidal reporter, according to The Wrap. Antonio Campos is directing the film which chronicles the final months of a depressed news broadcaster who infamously committed suicide on live television in the 1970s.
Timothy Simons and Rebecca Hall also joined. Tracy Letts, J. Smith-Cameron (“Rectify”), Maria Dizzia (“Orange Is the New Black”) and Jayson Warner Smith (“Rectify”) co-star in “Christine,” which Campos will direct off a script by Craig Shilowich.
